The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act
RIGHT TO EDUCATION ACT
Right to Education Act (RTE) is also known as the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act. As part of the Right to Education Act, the Government of Karnataka reserves a set number of seats in government, government-aided, and private schools. The RTE scheme fills 100% of seats in government schools, 95% of seats in government aided schools, and 25% of seats in private unaided schools.
