CBSE AFFILIATION STATUS

In 1999, the Department of Public Instructions, Government of Karnataka, recognized St. Mary’s Primary School as an English Medium Nursery and Primary School for girls and boys. After the school grew to a full-fledged high school, the first batch of students appeared for the SSLC Examination in 2001.  Our students have established a track record of state, district, and taluk ranks over the years to demonstrate our success in imparting sound knowledge. Throughout the years, the school maintained its reputation as a leading educational institution with 100% results in SSLC Examinations conducted by the Department of Public Instructions, Government of Karnataka, and Taluk Toppers remained our students. In addition to receiving the Taluk Level Best School award from the Department of Public Instruction for our school’s overall curricular and co-curricular activities, our school was recognized by the Town Municipality for its commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.

For over 30 years, the school has delivered high-quality educational programs to civil servants, army personnel, doctors, engineers, and professionals in IT, ITES, banking, agricultural innovators and farmers etc. who have been a part in the progress and  development of the nation.  Some of our well-known Alumni is Mr. Santhosh. IAS, who is currently serving as a District Magistrate in the state of Telangana, Dr. Sugosh S ganjam,Dr. Ramya S, Dr. Shruthi G V, Dr. Sheethal S Ganjam , who are currently serving in Health Department, Karnataka are the few who have shared their work profile with the school.

 The school’s continued success has encouraged its management -which is committed to innovation and sensitive to changing needs in society – to change its curriculum from the state board to the Central Board of Secondary Education,  New Delhi; now the school is completely affiliated to CBSE.

Government of India has recognized CBSE as a National Sports Promotion Organization (NSPO).  In accordance with eligibility and merit, CBSE awards scholarships to a variety of categories of students.  As outlined in NCPCR & NDMA guidelines, the Board emphasizes safety & security for its students. Children with Special Needs (CWSN) students are allowed to apply for exemptions/concessions under the CBSE’s Online Affiliation System, which is hassle-free, transparent, and available 24 hours a day. A highly transparent and robust affiliation system has been developed by the Board, where schools can view the status of their application online.
